Job Summary
We are looking for a resilient and self‑motivated person to fulfil the role of Flexi Supervisor to cover the running of our services across Leinster in the absence of the Service Managers. This person will work as part of the Management team within Autism A Chara.
Location
Newtownmountkennedy, County Wicklow, HSE Dublin and South East region.
Contract
Specified Purpose — Whole Time.
Qualifications
Social Care, Social Studies or a relevant 3rd level qualification at degree level (e.g., Social Work, Psychology). Equivalent qualifications recognised by NARIC to Irish Level 8 are acceptable.
Eligible to register with CORU as a Social Care Worker.
Full driver's licence.
Responsibilities
Completion/monitoring of administration tasks, including rota, payroll, manager's checklists, annual leave, absence, transitions, audits and action plans.
Support Area Manager/PIC during external/internal monitoring such as HIQA/HSE inspections, audits and peer reviews to maintain high quality standards.
Manage health and safety processes, including reviewing risk assessments and implementing safety measures.
Responsible for service rota management to ensure safe staffing levels.
Skills & Abilities
Minimum one year's recent experience working as a Social Care Worker with people with complex needs.
Proven knowledge of current legislation and regulations relevant to the Social Care sector.
Understanding and respect for the needs and rights of individuals with autism.
Focus on the individual's Person Centre Plan and care plan.
Strong initiative, communication, and English language proficiency.
Experience supervising/managing a team at a similar level.
