CREGG is delighted to be recruiting a Pricing Specialist to join a well-known supplier ofheating, plumbing and renewable energy solutions. Our client offers a range of products and services, including design, technical support, and after-sales support. The Pricing Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the correct product and pricing data is applied to the products and will assist and support the PFM manager, Procurement team and other sectors of the business with Product, Pricing and Margin initiatives. Responsibilities Ensure that the supplier Product file is updated in a timely manner with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail Create all new Product Codes in accordance with the information outlined by the product team and communicate any changes or updates required Work with the Internal Product team on any Price file updates and Supplier file restructures to ensure progressive upkeep of the product file to optimize margin opportunities. Identify and resolve all pricing discrepancies reported Assisting the PFM manager in Margin improvement projects relating to product and product group sets. Recalculating product costs, RRP Prices, and restructure Margin Controls. Maintenance of Customer Price list Maintaining, updating and recalculating all data and pricing on the company brochures Prepare quarterly term review matrix files by branch. Provide to the Regional Managers for update and implement any changes required Respond to requests for confirmation of pricing Input all promotional prices in a timely manner Manage the shared PFM inbox Maintenance of any internal forms and process guides for the PFM team Review weekly and monthly scheduled sales analysis reports to our branches, highlighting margin changes and providing any unscheduled reports as required Providing essential data analysis to various sectors of the business Support the PFM Manager on any ad-hoc duties as required Adherence to health, safety and environmental rules and regulations Any other duties as reasonably requested by management Requirements Essential A minimum of 2 years recent relevant work experience gained in similar role. Intermediate to Advanced Knowledge of Excel (Pivot tables, lookups, calculation Formulas, etc) and experience in using Excel for reporting and analysis purposes. Excellent attention to detail Analytical and logical thinker, to provide problem solving solutions Ability to work as part of a team and independently when required Must be able to multi-task and be comfortable to adapt to changes in workload with short notice.
