PEP Engineer – Mobile Engine ServicesLocation:Hybrid after 6 months/ Site-based for training purposesJob Type:Full-timeAbout the RoleWe are looking for aPEP Engineerto support aircraft engine maintenance activities within aMobile Engine Services (MES)environment. This role plays a key part in planning, preparing and supporting complex engine repair events, ensuring work is clearly defined, technically correct and delivered in line with customer and regulatory requirements.You will work closely with engineering, planning, operations and customer-facing teams to ensure safe, efficient and well-organised maintenance events, both on-site and in the field.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate and define maintenance work scopes in line with customer requirementsWork closely with Customer Support, Operations and Customer Service teams to plan maintenance eventsDraft, create and revise job cards using approved maintenance dataSupport the planning and execution of engine repair across multiple disciplinesProvide technical support during maintenance, including troubleshooting, reviewing findings and producing inspection reportsRecord and report observed engine hardware condition accuratelyLiaise with OEMs and external stakeholders to support maintenance activitiesSupport in-station and in-field MES events, including occasional out-of-hours supportAssist with the introduction of new engine types, products and repair methodsDevelop, improve and implement planning and production processes for engine repairsMaintain and improve planning and master data to support efficient event flowDeliver training and instructions to support new methods, processes, tools or equipmentSupport the training and development of junior PEP Engineers and other team membersSupport customer-facing discussions by providing technical input when requiredParticipate in or lead special projects to support operational and business needsSkills & Personal AttributesStrong attention to detail with a high level of accuracyEffective problem-solving skills in a fast-changing environmentClear and professional written and verbal communication skillsCustomer-focused approachAble to work under pressureSelf-motivated, proactive and solution-focusedStrong team player with good interpersonal skillsCommitted to company values and ethical standardsWillingness to travel as requiredQualifications & ExperienceDegree in Aeronautical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent practical experienceExperience in an aircraft or engine maintenance environment is desirablePrevious experience in engine MRO (repair, inspection, planning, operations or engineering) is an advantageGood understanding of turbofan engine maintenance concepts, procedures, tooling and documentationIT SkillsProficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPointWilling and able to learn new systems and IT tools to support business needsWhat's on OfferCompetitive salary package based on experienceOngoing training and professional development opportunitiesSupportive working environment with a focus on long-term career growth
