Evening Store Supervisor - Full Time at LONDIS, Main Street, Balla Co Mayo

Responsible for: All employees of your team as directed by Management
Main Purpose of the Job: To ensure the smooth running of the store on your shift.
Main Duties:
* To oversee the smooth running of check-out operations, ensuring adequate cover at all times for speedy service, ensuring adequate Staff numbers remain on the Tills to prevent Queues.
* To ensure the highest standard of customer care is given to our customers at all service areas.
* To keep a look out for shoplifters and other suspicious activity around the store and make sure that all Doors to back-office areas are kept locked and that staff are careful when cashing up.
* To ensure all staff comply with the law on sale of alcohol, cigs and lottery tickets.
* To be very vigilant as to whom some customers may be buying alcohol for especially if there are youngsters about.
* To ensure Seating areas are always kept clean and tidy including Public Toilets, Sales Floor Store front and Forecourt areas.
* To liaise with previous shift Manager to follow up outstanding jobs from earlier in the day and to prioritise work schedules at the beginning of evening shift, and through the evening.
* To ensure the store is adequately merchandised and left ready for next day's business.
* To monitor sales floor and public toilets ensuring they are maintained in a clean and tidy condition at all times and that cleaning record sheets are filled in.
* To handle customer queries, requests and complaints according to the store's procedures.
* To ensure company policy on health and safety is adhered to at all times by all employees.
* To maintain careful watch over all forecourt activities.
* To record any drive offs, accidents or other incidents as per company instructions.
* To ensure company rules, policies and procedures are adhered to.
* To carry out any other duties as directed by store management.
