Civil Engineer
Dublin | Hybrid Working (2 days in office)
Up to €80,000 DOE + additional benefits
A major utilities and renewable energy group operating across Ireland is looking to strengthen its electrical and grid team with the addition of a Civil Engineer.
With more than 30 years in the market, the business has become one of the most established players in the Irish energy sector, investing billions into renewable infrastructure and building one of the largest operating portfolios in the country.
Today, the organisation employs over 700 people and continues to grow following recent investment and a renewed focus on expanding key technical functions.
What makes this opportunity particularly interesting is the diversity of the business.

This role will suit someone with a background in the civil engineering market and construction, who is looking for a fast paced environment in the renewable energy space.
Key responsibilities include:
Overseeing civil and construction activities through EPC specialists and contractors.
Communicating with various stakeholders throughout this process.
Ensuring contractors are delivering work in a timely manner and to a good standard of quality.
Reviewing grid cable routes, and interfacing with operating bodies as well as other stakeholders throughout the construction process.
Monitoring compliance on all civil works with regards to various conditions including environmental, planning and agricultural.
Working closely with health and safety standards throughout construction processes.
Advising throughout construction processes on budgets, programme durations and quality checks.
Design reviews on substations alongside the rest of the engineering team.
