Job Title, Summary & Reporting Line
Reporting to theDirector of Operations, theLogistics & Scheduling Manageris a highly organized and dynamic individual responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the sampling team, supporting our Food, Environmental, Medtech, and Pharmaceutical clients across the country.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing schedules and the team to ensure efficient and timely sample collection while maintaining high standards of customer service and operational efficiency.

The Role
Schedule Coordination
* Develop and manage daily, weekly, and monthly schedules for samplers and drivers.
* Ensure optimal allocation of resources to meet client requirements and deadlines.
* Adjust schedules in response to changing client needs, employee availability, and other operational factors.
* Utilize appropriate software solutions to deliver an efficient and easy-to-manage scheduling process.
* Monitor and analyze scheduling metrics to identify areas for improvement.
* Implement strategies to optimize routes, reduce travel time, and improve overall efficiency.
Team Management
* Supervise and support samplers and drivers, providing guidance and addressing any issues or concerns.
* Conduct regular performance appraisals and provide constructive feedback.
* Manage the implementation of logistics schedules, policies, procedures, techniques, standards, and systems with the team, ensuring samplers and drivers have appropriate support.
* Facilitate training and development programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
Client Interaction
* Liaise with clients regarding scheduling and sample collection.
* Address and resolve client concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
* Ensure high levels of client satisfaction through efficient and reliable service.
Operational Efficiency
* Manage stock levels and order supplies required for sampling.
* Work with the Finance team to manage fleet vehicles (e.g., service and DVRT scheduling), ensuring driver and vehicle safety.
* Coordinate collections with lab supervisors to ensure proper capacity for processing and meeting customer deadlines.
* Provide support with existing and new client quotations.
* Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.
Where You’ve Come From
* Degree inLogistics, Business, or a related field(desirable).
* 3-5 years’ experience in ascheduling, logistics, or operational role, with at least2 years in a managerial role.
