OverviewSenior Manager, Agile Sourcing, Global Products, Development & Supply (GPS) at Bristol Myers Squibb UK & Ireland. The Senior Manager will be part of the Agile Sourcing team responsible for source-to-contract operations across GPS categories such as External Manufacturing, Logistics, Product Development and/or Direct Materials. The role reports to the Director, GPS Agile Sourcing.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the source-to-contract operations across GPS categoriesFoster cross-functional proficiencies of resources and procurement categoriesDevelop and leverage a deep knowledge of the GPS Categories, Suppliers and Ways of workingImplement contract terms and conditions, negotiation best practices and BMS Standard Operating ProceduresOversee and lead the end-to-end sourcing and contracting process in support of operations across the commercial categoriesAct as an expert facilitator to fully manage and lead complex sourcing events from end-to-end (RFI/RFP); prepare and solicit competitive bids, quotations and proposals; evaluate offerings; assess supplier product and pricing information; conduct negotiations and communicate decisions externallyDrive the contract lifecycle from understanding the deal, drafting and negotiating, through redlines, finalization, distribution and storageCoordinate with business stakeholders, procurement partners and subject matter experts (e.g., legal, Cybersecurity, IT, Data Privacy, Quality) to incorporate feedback for timely, compliant contract facilitationMaintain awareness of pre-contracting steps and BMS policies related to contracted activitiesAct as escalation point within the Agile Sourcing team for guidance on substantive sourcing and contracting issuesPerformance Management & Continuous Improvement for Source to ContractReview team performance and identify trends to improve operational effectiveness, standardization and process simplificationShare best practices with the Agile Sourcing team to ensure business needs are met in a compliant, consistent mannerCollaborate with procurement and legal to improve contracting processes, including contract templates and negotiation guidanceLead or participate in continuous improvement initiatives within procurementQualifications & ExperienceB.S./B.A. in SciencesMinimum 4-6 years of related experience in procurement, sourcing and contracting, including familiarity with Master Services AgreementsMinimum 2-4 years managing a direct team with leadership of cross-functional, multicultural professionalsExperience in contract construction with knowledge of drafting and negotiating buy-side and in-scope contracts in pharma/biotechDirect people management experience with growth mindset, mentoring and coachingExperience with Contract Lifecycle Management technology (e.g., Icertis)Expertise & CompetenciesProcurement process, agreement management, financial and market analysis, supplier management and strategic planningExcellent oral and written communication and diplomacyAbility to navigate ambiguous, complex environments and lead cross-functional teamsStrong leadership skills with a track record of delivering cross-functional projectsWhy you should applyYou will help patients in their fight against serious diseasesYou will be part of a company that values excellence, diversity and employee developmentCompetitive salary and benefits including annual bonus, pension, health insurance, generous leave, and on-site facilities#ProcurementIEOn-site protocol and equal employment opportunity information are provided in the full job posting.
