Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced leader to fill the position of Director of Nursing at a 60+ bedded nursing home in County Kildare.
This is a permanent full-time role, working 39 hours per week. As a key member of the management team, you will play a vital role in shaping the care and services provided by the facility.
Responsibilities will include managing a senior nursing management team within the last six years in a relevant healthcare setting, as well as ensuring that all staff members receive high-quality training and support.
Key Responsibilities:
* Post-Graduate Qualification in Management: Must hold (or be in the process of completing) a postgraduate qualification in healthcare management or a related management discipline.
* Typical qualifications include Postgraduate Diploma in Health Services Management, Level 8/9 qualification in Management, Leadership, or similar courses at NFQ Level 8 or higher.
* BSc in Nursing: Must have at least three years' experience in a senior nursing management role within the last six years in a relevant healthcare setting.
