Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for designing and building our SaaS Protection & Backupify products.
You will work closely with product management to develop new features that improve the Managed Service Provider (MSP) experience.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Designing and executing software solutions for both relational and non-relational databases like MySQL, Cassandra, Redis, and messaging infrastructures such as RabbitMQ, Kafka, Elasticsearch.
* Driving innovation and automation to enhance process efficiency and effectiveness.
* Playing a pivotal role in the continuous delivery and upkeep of large, multi-region, distributed systems.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need to have strong back-end development skills with object-oriented design and problem-solving abilities.
Key qualifications include:
* 4+ years of experience delivering reliable and maintainable software.
* Exposure to debugging low-level Linux issues, utilizing the command line, and shell scripting (bash).
* Strong fundamentals in data structures, design patterns, and algorithms.
* Experience working with public clouds (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
* Experience working with Docker and Kubernetes.
* Understanding of authentication and authorization frameworks/standards (e.g., OAuth).
* Familiarity with hypervisors (e.g., VMWare, Hyper-V, VirtualBox, KVM) is a plus.
* Familiarity with ZFS or similar COW filesystems is a plus.
