We're partnering with a
large, complex logistics organisation
to appoint a
Senior HR Business Partner / Head of HR–level leader
, reporting directly into a HR Director.
This is a
high-impact, senior role
in a business where HR genuinely has a seat at the table. You'll be trusted, listened to, and expected to shape outcomes — not just advise.

The Role
You'll lead the people agenda across Supply Chain, supporting a workforce of
700+ employees
across both white- and blue-collar environments during a period of ongoing transformation.
This is a
hands-on, senior HRBP role
combining significant operational ownership with meaningful strategic project work.
Key Focus Areas
• Heavy
ER / IR exposure
, particularly within Supply Chain
• Strong
trade union engagement and negotiations
• Operating in a
fast-paced, high-volume environment
(retail mindset essential)
• Stabilising and standardising
HR policies, processes and frameworks
• Leading and developing a
multi-layered HR team
• Acting as a trusted, pragmatic advisor to senior leaders
Your Team
You'll lead:
• HR Manager
• HR Generalist x 2
• HR Administrator
First 6–12 Month Priorities
• Stabilise key stakeholder relationships
• Own complex ER/IR matters with confidence
• Strengthen union relationships
• Embed consistent policies and processes
• Elevate capability and impact across the HR team
What We're Looking For
• Proven experience at
Senior HRBP or Head of HR level
• Strong background in
ER/IR and unionised environments
• Experience in logistics, retail, supply chain or multi-site settings
• Commercial, resilient and solutions-focused
• Comfortable operating with autonomy and pace
• CIPD qualified (Level 5 desirable) or equivalent experience
