Retail Grocery / Convenience Sales Representative – Role Overview

As a sales representative with the Grocery team, you will be working across well-known brands including Swizzels, Blue Dragon, Pataks, Optimum Nutrition and more. Sales calls will include Dunnes, Supervalu, Spar, Centra


Responsibilities

* Ideally located in South of Ireland, covering mainly Dublin or Leinster area.
* Calling across a range of stores within your territory area with particular focus on driving sales to enhance availability, display impact, promotional compliance, and relationship management.
* Ensuring all promotional activity within accounts in your territory is correct, including POS
* Achieving added value targets, promotional and planogram compliance as agreed by the national account team in BR Marketing
* Compiling and working to Journey plans according to appropriate call sequences
* Field Sales Administration
* Deliver outstanding premium visibility in store through relationship building and influencing in store contacts/management


Skills and Competencies

* 2-3 years’ experience in FMCG, ideally in the retail, convenience or pharma sector.
* Passionate about brand and brand building, enthusiastic to develop within the role.
* Results orientated with excellent attention to detail.
* Quick learner, proactive, used to working in fast paced environment.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Comfortable working across multiple brands.
* Creative, with ability to apply intelligent, commercial thinking to drive sales and brand awareness.
* Ability to build and leverage relationships with external partners and internal teams.
* Organised, with ability to manage time and priorities, and work off own initiative.

Dublin 60% / Rest of Leinster 40% Area
