Job Summary: As an Accounts Administrator within our residential division, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth financial operations of the residential construction projects. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing invoices, managing payroll, and supporting the overall financial health of the residential section. Key Responsibilities: Accounts Payable/Receivable: Process supplier invoices and ensure timely payments. Reconcile accounts payable transactions. Generate and send client invoices, follow up on receivables. Payroll Processing: Manage and process employee payroll accurately and on time. Ensure compliance with tax and other regulatory requirements. Address payroll-related inquiries and issues. Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of financial reports. Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records. Collaborate with the finance team to analyze financial data. Budget Monitoring: Work closely with project managers to monitor project budgets. Track expenses and identify areas for cost optimization. Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies. Monitor cash flow and provide regular updates. Compliance: Stay informed about relevant accounting and tax regulations. Ensure compliance with internal and external audit requirements. Manage BCAR documentation during construction process. Assist in the management of Health & Safety documentation. Qualifications and Skills: A qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Proven experience as an Accounts Administrator or similar role in the construction industry. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage). Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
