Senior Payments Analyst
Location: Kilkenny OR Citywest, Dublin 24 – 6 month fixed term contract basis.
The Opportunity
Senior Payments Analyst – a dynamic role focused on delivering better nutrition for every step of life’s journey.
Responsibilities
Preparation and review of Monthly Consolidated P&Ls and Balance Sheet for internal commercial reporting purposes and for Group consolidation.
Maintenance of financial ledgers and accounting processes, including responsibility for balance sheet integrity.
Act as the primary liaison between the Genpact EMEA team and the Glanbia team, overseeing and supporting the successful delivery of new responsibilities.
Project manage key business processes throughout the year including month end and year end cycles, and internal and external audits, from an accounting and controlling standpoint.
Coordinate and manage key stakeholders and contributors both internally and externally as part of the GPN International divisional Group and Statutory audits.
Perform cash management and treasury duties, liaising with the Group Treasury function.
Ensure that commercial and statutory financial reports are completed on time and continuously developed to meet changing business demands.
Promote and maintain a rigorous control environment with appropriate documentation and controls compliance testing, identify improvement areas and collaborate with partners to implement changes.
Ensure compliance with all accounting, tax, and legal requirements across the countries in the region.
Assist the Financial Controller International with the ongoing development of the finance function’s ways of working and its support of commercial operations.
Implement financial control systems and recruit resources into acquisitions.
Required Skills
Must possess a Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four‑year college or university, and two years of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Prior experience with SAP ERP system required.
Ability to map and create process improvements.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate with people at all levels of the organization.
Intermediate personal computer skills, including electronic mail, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc.
Must be able to prioritize, organize, and delegate assignments.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Have a strong compliance‑oriented mindset and help build a strong compliance culture.
