OverviewAWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. We support all AWS data centers, servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment to keep the cloud running and provide customers with continual access to innovation.Key ResponsibilitiesEngineering electrical infrastructure products and owning product lifecycle in AWS data centers.Collaborating with global product development teams to understand product designs, testing, and operational life.Providing electrical infrastructure support and acting as a global go-to engineering resource.Evaluating design changes, reviewing and approving equipment submittals, and working with global suppliers and manufacturers.Building trust and relationships with stakeholders across reliability, operations, design, compliance.Supporting operations with failure mode, root cause analysis, maintenance, troubleshooting, and procedural review for mechanical and electrical issues.Listening to the voice of the customer to drive reliability and availability improvements and oversee root cause analysis.Basic QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).Experience in industrial or commercial engineering in mission-critical facilities (data centers, power generation, oil and gas).Experience researching new designs, technologies, and construction methods for data center equipment and facilities.Experience in commissioning.Preferred QualificationsProfessional Engineer License.Experience with building codes and regulations for the region.Experience carrying design concepts through exploration, development, and deployment or mass production.Experience reading, interpreting, and creating construction drawings, specifications, and submittal documents.About the Team and BenefitsDiverse experiences: AWS values diverse experiences and encourages candidates with alternative backgrounds to apply.
