Operations Coordinator Job Description
This position involves managing day-to-day operational activities and coordinating with suppliers and team members to ensure all services meet high-quality standards.
* Coordinate and oversee daily operations, including tour schedules, bookings, and customer service.
* Communicate with staff and third-party vendors to ensure all arrangements run smoothly.
* Manage and update booking systems, itineraries, and schedules.
* Monitor operational performance and address any issues promptly to minimize disruption.
* Maintain relationships with suppliers, ensuring contracts and agreements are up to date.
* Assist in recruiting, training, and scheduling of support staff.
* Stock control of operational resources, including shop supplies, farm equipment, and promotional materials.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in operations or coordination within the tourism, travel, or hospitality industry.
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a customer-first attitude.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Familiarity with local and international tourism trends and regulations.
* Problem-solving mindset and ability to handle unexpected challenges calmly.
* Flexibility to occasionally work outside standard hours, including weekends or holidays, as required.
