My client, a growing family run business in Cork, is looking to recruit a Management Accountant to assist with the ongoing success of the company. The role offers a very competitive salary, pension and the opportunity to work directly with an experienced Financial Controller.
The Role:
* Assist in the month-end process including accruals, fixed assets, and prepayments.
* Prepare Balance Sheet reconciliations.
* Assist in preparing monthly management accounts and reports.
* Manage international stock supplier A/P and related weekly USD payment run.
* Preparation of monthly stock supplier creditor reconciliations.
* Manage recording of stock receipts and related stock std cost.
* Manage inter-company transactions
* Assist in Annual Audit file preparation and manage auditor queries.
* Continuously review and enhance internal financial controls
* Prepare and file quarterly VAT returns, annual RTDs.
* Contribute to various ad hoc finance projects as required
* Management of day-to-day ad-hoc finance duties that arise
Requirements:
* 2+ years working within a similar role.
* Newly qualified, part-qualified / qualified by experience accountant.
* Strong technical accounting knowledge and a detail-oriented mindset
* Excellent communication & interpersonal skills will be required.
* A ''Can do'' attitude.
* Advanced user of Excel
* Knowledge/ experience using SAP Business One is an advantage, not a prerequisite
* Proven ability to work to deadlines.
