TTM Healthcare are proud to partner with our client in the public sector to recruit for a Grade IV Assistant Staff Officer in Waterford.
Job Type: Temporary 3 month initial contract
Full time: 35 hours, Monday to Friday, 09.00-17.00
Pay rate: €19.50 - €30.07 per hour depending on previous relative public sector experience
Key Responsibilities
* Provide administrative support across a range of HR and recruitment functions.
* Assist in the coordination of recruitment processes, including advertising roles, scheduling interviews, and liaising with candidates and hiring managers.
* Maintain and update HR systems and personnel files, ensuring data accuracy and compliance.
* Support onboarding processes, including preparation of contracts and induction materials.
* Respond to general HR queries from staff and management.
* Assist in maintaining compliance with employment legislation and internal policies.
* Support HR team members with ad-hoc tasks and project work as required.
Requirements
* Prior experience in a HR or Recruitment role.
* Strong administrative and organisational skills.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
