Project Engineer (Civil)
Location: Based in Kerry (Projects in Kerry, Cork & Limerick)

About the Role:
Nexus is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Engineer (Civil) to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to be involved in a wide range of projects including residential, commercial, and civil works across Kerry, Cork, and Limerick. The role is based in Kerry but requires flexibility to work on sites across the region.

Key Responsibilities:
- Setting out and site engineering duties
- Reading and interpreting drawings and specifications, ensuring accurate on-site execution
- Managing subcontractors and coordinating daily site operations
- Monitoring and checking materials and deliveries
- Ensuring all site works comply with HSQE standards
- Preparing and maintaining quality documentation and site records
- Liaising with the design team, consultants, and suppliers
Requirements:
- Relevant degree in Civil Engineering or similar
- Minimum 1-2 years' experience in a site engineering role
- Proficient in setting out using GPS/Total Station
- Good understanding of health, safety, and environmental standards
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Full driving licence and willingness to travel within Kerry, Cork & Limerick.
