As a Project Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing the commercial aspects of your designated projects to ensure they are properly managed and controlled. You will develop and deliver commercial strategies in accordance with the business requirements.
The Project Quantity Surveyor will work under the guidance of a Contracts Manager or Managing QS.
Your Main Duties
1. Carry out all Quantity Surveying duties including measurement, procurement, cost monitoring, cost control, cost reporting, preparation of interim payments, and settlement of final accounts in a professional manner.
2. Maintain Project Variation Folders to include all Variations.
3. Prepare Internal Subcontractor Payment Certificates.
4. Liaise and coordinate with the Kilcawley Project Team where necessary.
5. Review and monitor Project Commercial Plans.
6. Possess a Degree in Quantity Surveying with some Post Graduate Experience.
7. Have strong knowledge of Technical Construction Details.
8. Be very organized with excellent time management skills.
9. Exhibit excellent verbal, written, communication, presentation, and IT skills.
10. Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams.
11. Proficient in the full MS Office suite.
12. Knowledge of Cubit and Buildsoft software is an advantage.
13. Pay strong attention to detail.
14. Be a strong team player with the ability to work independently when needed.
