Full job description Talented Sous Chef and Chef de Partie required for OGradys on the Pier. We are an award winning seafood restaurant based in county Galway. We are looking for candidates with strong communication skills, who is a good team player and who wants to learn. The Sous Chef must be an excellent team leader and have a minimum 3 years experience in the same industry. A strong passion for the culinary arts is a must for the role. Duties and responsibilities: Assist the Head Chef & the Sous Chef in the overall management of the kitchen. The Sous Chef must lead. Have previous experience as a chef working in a quality restaurant environment- 3 years min for both roles. Be passionate about delivering a high-quality menu. Assist in the monitoring of food quality and hygienic standards according to direction from department managers. Make sure all HACCP procedures are followed. Keep up with the Chefs' leadership and efficiency. Maintain good hygiene during the preparation and storage of food with the help of your fellow staff members.
