On behalf of our client, we are currently recruiting for a Part-time Clinical Support Orthopaedic role in Tralee, Kerry. This position involves working 2 days per week.
Responsibilities
1. Provide clinical support in orthopedic theatre settings for B Braun Hip and Knee procedures, aligning with surgeon and nurse requirements.
2. Represent the company and its products professionally at all times.
3. Support consultants and nursing staff in theatre regarding product use.
4. Provide accurate information about products and their indications to orthopedic consultants and nursing staff.
5. Deliver first-class service and seamless supply to customers, including training, stock checks, timely deliveries, and supporting theatre operations.
6. Establish and maintain relationships with key accounts and customers.
7. Stay updated on developments and trends within the territory, monitor and feedback on competitor activity to the Aesculap Business Lead.
8. This is a clinical and educational role involving organizing and facilitating clinical advice and education in an acute setting.
9. Liaise with prospective and existing customers to monitor clinical satisfaction and needs.
10. Develop relationships with Regional Key Opinion Leaders.
11. Promote and grow the key product range with customers who have a clinical need, focusing on Orthopedic Surgeons and hospitals.
12. Develop the Orthopedic/Power Tools portfolio.
13. Deliver education and training both group and individual within hospital settings, including theatre and HSSD.
14. Attend exhibitions and conferences nationally and internationally as required.
15. Ensure prompt communication, documentation, and collection of product complaints, complying with systems.
16. Maintain up-to-date product knowledge to ensure accurate communication and uphold credibility with customers.
Requirements
* Qualifications in Nursing, Physiotherapy, or a related field are preferred.
* Experience in theatre/surgical settings is highly desirable.
* Experience in Orthopaedics or a related area is an advantage.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Flexible and positive approach.
