Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Coordinator to join our team in a vital role that contributes to delivering high-quality maintenance services to production and the site-wide facility.
Key Responsibilities:
* Solve mechanical and electrical problems on the manufacturing plant with the maintenance team.
* Accountable for maintenance downtime, root cause analysis, and problem-solving on plant equipment.
* Maintain parts systems for new lines and existing mechanical parts systems and services.
* Manage purchase orders for the maintenance department in collaboration with the administrator.
* Involved in continuous improvement projects for the organization.
* Manage suppliers and costs for the maintenance department.
* Plan and issue all preventive maintenance requests for the company and liaise with the production manager on personnel resourcing for ongoing preventive maintenance duties.
* Review weekly preventive maintenance to ensure compliance with the company plan.
Qualifications/Experience/Skills:
* Minimum 5 years of experience working in a regulated industry or environment as a qualified mechanical fitter or mechanic.
* Excellent problem-solving skills.
* Proficient in computer applications.
* Demonstrated project management skills are essential.
* Basic knowledge of electrics is advantageous.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Demonstrate a logical approach to problem-solving.
* Show a can-do attitude.
