Join The Grace Westport Estate, a remarkable new hotel opening in Spring 2026 on Ireland's Wild Atlantic Way, at the heart of the captivating Westport Estate.

Job Summary:

The Restaurant Manager leads the daily operations of the hotel's signature restaurant. They are responsible for maintaining impeccable service standards, managing front-of-house operations, mentoring staff, and ensuring an extraordinary dining experience in line with The Grace Westport Estate vision.

Principle Responsibilities

Guest Experience Management

* Deliver exceptional service by ensuring every guest interaction is personalised and memorable.
* Handle guest concerns and special requests with professionalism and discretion.
* Monitor guest feedback across platforms and dining review channels and resolve complaints in a timely manner.

Operational Oversight

* Oversee all front of house operations including reservations, seating, and dining flow.
* Ensure compliance with professional service standards, cleanliness, and food presentation.
* Collaborate with the kitchen team for seamless service coordination.

Team Leadership & Development

* Recruit, train, and develop restaurant service staff including hosts, servers, and supervisors.
* Foster a culture of attentiveness, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
* Conduct daily briefings and lead regular training sessions on service etiquette, menu knowledge, and upselling techniques.

Financial & Inventory Management

* Manage labour costs, scheduling, and payroll in line with budgetary targets.
* Oversee inventory, ordering, and cost control of front of house supplies.
* Contribute to financial forecasting, revenue tracking, and performance analysis.

Menu & Beverage Coordination

* Stay informed on menu offerings, wine pairings, and seasonal specials in collaboration with Director of Food and Beverage and wider F&B team.
* Lead implementation of new menu items and promotions.

Compliance & Safety

* Ensure compliance with hygiene regulations, liquor licensing laws, and hotel SOPs.
* Maintain accurate records for inspections, audits, and operational checklists.

Required Experience & Skills

* 3-5 years' experience in restaurant management, ideally in a luxury or fine dining environment.
* Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
* Familiarity with reservation systems and POS systems.
* Wine and spirits knowledge; sommelier or mixology certification a plus.
* Fluent in English; additional languages advantageous.
* Eligibility to work in Ireland.
