Role PurposeThe role of Electrical Project Manager will have you working across large-scale electrical projects in an ever-expanding company. You will manage the end-to-end stage of the construction phase and will be responsible for planning, coordination, leading and controlling of all aspects of the project. You will be the clients' main point of contact and be responsible for building positive relationships with them.Electrical Project Manager ResponsibilitiesLead tender handover sessions and complete thorough project validation including business case development, cost management framework, cashflow forecasting and billing schedulesCreate detailed procurement strategies, design coordination plans, delivery programmes with supporting s-curves and manpower allocation chartsWork with Operations Director to secure appropriate project resourcing and define success criteria with clientsEstablish project-specific EHS and quality frameworks aligned to ISO 9001:2015, then mobilise contractors and site facilities accordinglyServe as primary client interface while directing your site team through effective daily operations managementMonitor programme adherence, material supply chains and technical deliverables to maintain project momentumImplement ongoing EHS and quality audits with appropriate documentation, including delivery of site-specific briefingsFacilitate contractor coordination sessions(including BIM) and represent H&F at client progress reviewsOversee financial performance alongside Commercial Manager/QS, flag variations and communicate potential challenges to clients proactivelyTrack site productivity metrics weekly, maintain programme oversight and provide monthly performance updates to Operations DirectorMaintain comprehensive project records in folders and QMS system alongside daily site documentationPartner with Commissioning Manager to verify all testing and commissioning activities meet quality standardsObtain certification for critical life safety installations, conduct system demonstrations and complete detailed handover walkthroughsDeliver operation and maintenance documentation plus as-built drawings to clientsFinalise accounts with QS and secure client agreement, then manage closeout activities including retention collection and defect resolutionCoordinate site demobilisation, prepare comprehensive closeout documentation, complete project archiving and support warranty obligationsDrive lessons learned reviews, participate in monthly management forums, advance your professional development and cultivate lasting client partnershipsStay informed on regulatory changes and emerging industry practices while coaching less experienced project personnelThe above statements are intended to describe the essential responsibilities of persons assigned to this role.
