Sales Manager - Weddings Location: Killarney, Co. Kerry. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven and commercially focused sales professional to represent a well-established hospitality property renowned for hosting high-end weddings and events. The role offers a hybrid working model and would ideally suit candidates based in Killarney, Cork, or the surrounding areas. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving wedding and event revenue, building strong relationships with clients and partners, and representing the property across key markets in Ireland and the UK. Occasional travel will be required to attend industry events, trade shows, and client meetings. As Sales Manager - Weddings, you will be responsible for managing and growing the property's wedding business, ensuring exceptional client engagement from initial enquiry through to event confirmation. You will work closely with internal teams to ensure a seamless client journey while maximising revenue opportunities. You will act as an ambassador for the brand, promoting the property to prospective clients, wedding planners, and industry partners while identifying new opportunities to expand the business across domestic and international markets. The Duties Drive wedding and event sales through proactive business development and relationship management. Manage and respond to wedding enquiries, converting leads into confirmed bookings. Build strong relationships with wedding planners, agents, and industry partners. Represent the property at wedding fairs, trade shows, and networking events. Conduct site visits and client meetings to showcase the venue and its offerings. Develop and implement sales strategies to maximise wedding and event revenue. Work closely with the operations and events teams to ensure exceptional client delivery. Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities. Travel occasionally within Ireland and the UK to promote the venue and generate business. The Must Requirements Must have experience in hospitality sales. Must have experience in a similar role or be ready to step forward in your career into a sales management position. Strong commercial awareness with the ability to drive revenue and achieve targets. Excellent relationship-building, communication, and negotiation skills. Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple enquiries and clients.
