We are looking for a skilled professional to join our team as a Procurement Specialist.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing multiple procurement elements simultaneously, expediting supply chain management from source to delivery and ensuring timely deliveries.
Key responsibilities include:
* Demonstrating effective cross-departmental communication
* Negotiating material rates with suppliers
* Maintaining relationships with key suppliers
* Conducting spend analysis and financial reporting
* Liaising with project managers to set and maintain budgets
* Implementing LEAN initiatives within the purchasing process
* Evaluating new suppliers and negotiating warranty recovery with partners
Qualifications and Skills Required
* A relevant diploma or degree in Procurement
* At least 5 years' experience in a similar role within the construction industry
* Strong attention to detail and influencing skills
* Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
