If so, we have the perfect job for you! This is a unique opportunity for a qualified mechanic looking to use their knowledge in a new and exciting office environment.
Responsibilities:
1. Answer inbound technical customer queries and be the first point of contact for drivers.
2. Provide sound technical decisions by investigating the causes of mechanical failure, evaluating solutions, and ensuring that financial decisions are negotiated.
3. Achieve agreed performance levels including any call management measures.
4. Manage vehicle mechanical repairs and routine maintenance, in accordance with the manufacturer's service requirements and customer's set parameters.
5. Ensure all customer queries are dealt with efficiently and in a timely manner.
6. Assist with preventative and predictable maintenance; carry out general administration duties daily.
7. Be a part of the approvals team by reviewing high estimates, benchmarking costs, and ensuring the parts are fully required.
8. Develop relationships and build rapport with customers and business partners to ensure customer satisfaction.
9. Additional duties or projects as requested by the Team Leader/Manager.
Requirements:
1. Qualified mechanic is required.
2. Strong customer service and administration skills.
3. Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently and prioritize.
4. Interest/knowledge of the motor industry or maintenance control experience.
5. Excellent communication skills.
6. IT proficient.
7. Must be a self-motivated individual with an eagerness to learn and develop.
8. Flexibility.
9. LCV experience and commercial awareness is desirable.
10. Strong attention to detail.
