About the Role
This consultancy is a leading specialist in civil and structural design for residential and commercial construction, offering expert services to clients across the region.
We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to join our team as a key member of the design department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in design and project management, with excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering high-quality results.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing their own workload and mentoring junior engineers, ensuring project deadlines are met and reporting to the team of directors.
The role involves designing drainage and flood risk assessments, working closely with the architectural team to produce comprehensive building project designs.
Key Responsibilities
* Project management and leadership
* Designing roads and sewers
* Commercial and industrial drainage design
* Flood risk statements and assessments
* Earthworks ground modelling
* Mentoring junior engineers
Requirements
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, applicants must possess:
* A degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
* HNC minimum
* Strong understanding of civil engineering software such as MicroDrainage, Causeway Flow, Causeway PDS, AutoCAD, Civils 3D
* Full UK driving licence
