Your impact As a Senior Geotechnical Engineer at Jacobs, you'll help solve complex ground engineering challenges across major infrastructure projects in Transportation, Utilities, Advanced Facilities, and Environmental sectors.
Based in Dublin, you'll be part of a global team of over 400 geotechnical and tunnelling experts, delivering innovative solutions that shape the built environment.
You'll lead or support geotechnical input across all project stages providing technical guidance, mentoring junior staff, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Here's what you'll need Degree in Civil Engineering or a degree in Geology / Engineering Geology / Geotechnical Engineering.
A commitment to the pursuit of becoming chartered in the foreseeable future.
Adheres to all Codes of Practice, Design Standards and Health and Safety Regulations .
Experience of geotechnical software such as SlopeW, OpenGround, etc.
Experience of mapping/drawing software – ArcGIS, Project Mapper, AutoCAD, Civil 3D etc.
Experienced in preparation of Ground Investigation Tender packs, Scoping Ground Investigations and preparation of Specifications and Bill of Quantities.
Experience of geotechnical design and reporting Experience working on-site with Ground Investigation contractors, understanding of common Ground Investigative techniques, standards, and equipment.
