,Searsol is the leading provider of after-school touch typing courses for children in Ireland. We are looking for a tutor to deliver our courses in our Lucna Centre on a Wednesday from 4.15 to 5.15 pm .
Overall Purpose of Role:
* To undertake all teaching duties.
* To be expertly familiar with all aspects of the Searsol teaching model and fully contribute to its successful delivery after school classes
Main Duties and Responsibilities: Teach our after-school touch typing classes
* Engage professionally and appropriately with all students
* Ensure all events are run in accordance with Searsol child protection policy.
Educational Level: Course instructors should have at minimum QQI Level 5. Preference would be a JEB teaching diploma in information technology with some teaching experience.
Experience and Skills: Some classroom teaching experience is essential.
* Good preparation skills.
* Formal training in teaching approaches and processes.
* Ability to work with children.
Personal Characteristics and Attributes: Have a positive attitude
* Be willing to adapt and learn.
* Be prepared to accept direction.
* Have a strong commitment to student motivation and teaching.
* Be a good team player with good communication skills.

Full training will be provided along with a tutor manual. This is a contract position, and you have to look after your own tax affairs.
