Job Description:Our client, a leading organisation within the technology sector, is seeking an experienced Engineering Lead / Manager to head up a team of .NET developers within a cloud-first Azure environment. This is a permanent role based in Dublin City Centre.Job ResponsibilitiesLead and mentor a team of 10 software developers working in a Microsoft .NET and Azure environment.Drive the implementation of engineering best practices, ensuring high standards in coding, testing, and deployment.Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Architects, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions aligned with business goals.Oversee project planning, resourcing, and delivery within the development team.Champion Agile methodologies and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.Ensure scalability, reliability, and performance of applications hosted on Azure.Guide career development for team members through regular feedback and performance reviews.Promote a culture of collaboration, ownership, and continuous learning within the team.Experience RequiredMinimum 8 years' experience in software engineering with at least 3 years in a technical leadership or people management capacity.Proven experience managing or leading teams in an enterprise environment.Strong background in .NET development and Azure cloud platforms.Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Agile delivery methodologies.Familiarity with modern front-end technologies (React, Angular, etc.).Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerisation (Docker/Kubernetes).Exposure to DevOps practices and tools.Experience working with distributed systems and large-scale applications.Educational RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related discipline from a recognised third-level institution.Salary Range: 100-120k plus bonus and pension and healthcare and many extras (total Package worth 150k)Hybrid working model with office presence in Dublin City Centre.Competitive salary package.Performance bonus.Healthcare and life assurance benefits.HOW TO APPLY:If you are interested in this role, please apply for this role with your updated CV
