About Your New Job
* External Financial Management & Operational Leadership
o Oversee compliance, reporting, and operational accounting tied to external stakeholders.
o Ensure timely and accurate filing and payment of PAYE, VAT, RCT/CIS, Intrastat for Ireland & UK.
o Maintain audit-ready documentation and uphold standards.
o Ensure intercompany transactions are recorded, reconciled, and reported accurately.
o Compile, review, and present quarterly consolidated reports for head office.
o Ensure data accuracy, timely submission, and alignment with corporate reporting standards.
o Lead and coordinate Irish and UK audit processes.
o Oversee AP and AR processing across multiple entities and currencies.
o Track and analyse monthly cost of goods sold (COGS), raw material usage, waste, and margin.
o Assist the HR/Factory Manager in overseeing time tracking, attendance, and shift planning processes.
o Lead preparation of short- and long-term cash flow forecasts.
o Manage a 5-person finance operations team, split across on-site and offshore locations.
* Internal Financial Integration
o Integrate with internal project-specific financials for commercial decision-making.
o Work with commercial and construction teams to track real-time costs against budget.
o Assist in forward-looking revenue and margin forecasting.
o Analyse historic project margins and performance metrics to inform new bid pricing.
o Translate financial data into business insight.
What Skills You Need
* Essential Skills:
o Experience in financial reporting and compliance functions.
o Strong knowledge of accounting standards and internal controls.
o Proficiency in Excel, Word, and other computer systems.
o Excellent communication and leadership skills.
o Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
