Job Overview
We are seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our team in Dublin, Ireland. The successful candidate will be working in a well-structured team providing occupational therapy services to patients with mental health conditions.
The role involves assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation of treatment/intervention programmes for clients according to professional standards. Effective collaboration with residents, family, carers and other staff members is essential in goal setting and treatment/intervention planning.
The successful candidate will also participate in the multidisciplinary healthcare team and work cooperatively with colleagues to achieve common goals. Additionally, they will be responsible for managing student therapists and promoting their development through teaching, training and support.
To succeed in this role, you will need to have a recognised qualification as an Occupational Therapist, registration with CORU or eligibility for same, relevant post-qualification clinical experience in a mental health/psychiatric setting and excellent planning and organisation skills.
