Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Technical Sales Representative to join our team. As a Technical Sales Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, recommending products, and ensuring timely delivery coordination.
Key Responsibilities
* Respond to customer enquiries by phone and email, providing selection, sizing, installation, and basic fault-finding support.
* Recommend products and configurations across valves, meters, fittings, and instrumentation, including flow/pressure/level sensors, data loggers, and controllers.
* Prepare and follow up on quotations, proposals, and tender documentations in a timely manner.
* Process sales orders and ensure timely delivery coordination with suppliers.
* Work closely with the external sales team to provide administrative support and client assistance.
* Maintain accurate records of enquiries, quotations, and orders in the ERP & CRM packages.
Requirements
* Experience in technical support or inside sales, preferably within water, utilities, construction, or instrumentation.
* Working knowledge of water networks and/or instrumentation, or a strong capacity to learn quickly.
* Candidates must possess clear written and verbal communication skills, as well as an organised approach to managing multiple requests.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office is required; experience with Sage 200 is an advantage.
