Job Title: Operations Director
Our organization requires an experienced Operations Director to manage daily operations of the production team.
Reporting into the Management, the successful candidate will work closely with the Team Leaders, Quality Assurance, Supply Chain, and Customer Service to drive improvements and ensure customer satisfaction.
Prior experience in either manufacturing sector is preferred. A minimum of 5 years of people management experience is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain production schedules, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
* Oversee production processes, ensuring alignment with customer delivery schedules and overall production goals.
* Assist in meeting daily production targets by providing guidance and resolving any issues.
* Allocate daily tasks to production team members, ensuring efficient use of time and resources.
* Suggest and implement improvements to enhance production capacity, quality, and overall efficiency.
* Organize training programs in partnership with HR to enhance employee skills and productivity.
* Troubleshoot production-related issues and implement effective solutions.
* Determine and manage material, manpower, and equipment needs for projects.
* Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to ensure products meet the required specifications and customer expectations.
* Comply with Quality Management System (QMS) and contribute towards maintaining high-quality standards.
* Ensure that final products meet customer requirements and specifications, taking corrective action as needed.
* Manage employee performance, attendance, and discipline in line with company policies and HR procedures.
* Promote ongoing professional development and support team members in their career growth.
* Proactively identify areas for improvement and contribute to the continuous development of internal processes and systems.
* Actively participate in weekly production and monthly management meetings to report progress, challenges, and future plans.
* Ensure the team follows Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) policies.
Requirements:
* A degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
* At least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
* Strong leadership and communication skills.
* Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
* Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
* Knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS).
* Excellent problem-solving skills.
