Job Title: EHS Specialist
We are seeking a highly skilled EHS Specialist to oversee the development and implementation of a comprehensive health, safety, and environmental management system.
* Conduct risk assessments, machine safety evaluations, and assist in hazard identification across all site operations.
* Support the team in managing health, safety, and environmental matters and executing new projects and programs.
* Provide guidance and advice to site management on national and EU safety legislation, machinery safety standards, and best practices.
* Provide technical input into change management processes, including review and approval of equipment and machinery modifications from an EHS perspective.
* Assist in designing and implementing corporate safety systems with a focus on process safety management, hazards analysis, industrial hygiene, risk assessment, accident reporting, and change control.
* Develop and implement site occupational health programs.
* Lead and support incident investigations, recommend corrective actions, and drive preventive measures.
* Participate in developing and implementing site security protocols and procedures.
* Engage in pre-start-up reviews, internal and external auditing, site inspections, and walkdowns.
* Assist in creating safe systems of work for manufacturing and maintenance operations.
* Support key EHS initiatives and deliver relevant training to personnel.
* Promote a positive and proactive safety culture through employee engagement and stakeholder interaction.
* Achieve effective EHS Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and maintain compliance.
* Support emergency response and business continuity planning.

* Good computer skills (MS Office, Visio, AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
* Fluent written and spoken English.
Education and Experience:
The ideal candidate will hold a degree qualification in Automation, Electrical, or Process Engineering. A Certificate in Health & Safety or Tech IOSH certification would be advantageous. At least 3-5 years' experience in a production environment is required, preferably with experience in ergonomic, chemical, and noise assessments.
