Overview
Element is the largest publicly traded pure‑play automotive fleet manager. We are looking for a purpose‑driven, client‑centered Proposal Manager to manage bid submissions and coordinate cross‑functional teams.
Primary Responsibilities
* Develop and implement a bid strategy aligned with commercial objectives.
* Coordinate with Sales, Corporate Marketing, Pricing, and other teams to gather necessary information.
* Create detailed proposal plans outlining timeline, milestones, responsibilities, and resources.
* Write, edit, and review proposal content, ensuring clarity, conciseness, and persuasiveness.
* Maintain an RFP repository of bid‑related documents for efficient future bid processes.
Key Interactions
* Sales Representatives / Account Managers – understand client needs and specific requirements.
* Corporate Marketing – gather market research, competitive analysis, and collateral materials.
* Pricing – receive input on pricing strategies, cost estimates, and discounting considerations.
Qualifications, Education, and Experience
* BS/BA or equivalent experience.
* 3+ years relevant experience preferred (2 years minimum, preferably B2B service).
* Prior business and/or creative writing experience.
* Experience with presentation software is a plus.
* Project Management – priority tasks, timelines, and status tracking in fast‑paced environments.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Collaboration and partnership – ability to work across functions.
* Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
