My client, based in Central Cork, is a well-known and progressive Accountancy practice. They provide a range of services including Audit, tax and advisory to a diverse and interesting client base compromising both national and international clients.
They are looking to dd to their team an Audit Senior to manage and execute the full audit cycle, from planning to reporting, for a diverse client portfolio. To support the audit team in delivering high-quality audit services in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in the planning and execution of audit engagements.
* Develop audit programs and risk assessments.
* Perform audit testing and procedures in accordance with auditing standards.
* Gather and analyze audit evidence.
* Identify and document audit findings.
* Use Caseware for audit execution.
* Prepare audit reports and financial statements.
* Present audit findings to clients and management.
* Provide support and guidance to junior team members.
* Maintain effective communication with clients.
* Ensure compliance with relevant auditing standards and regulations.
Qualifications:
* Professional Accountancy qualification (ACCA/ACA/CPA etc.)
* Experience completing the full audit cycle (planning, execution, reporting).
* Strong understanding of auditing standards and procedures.
* Excellent organizational and time management skills.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Renumeration
* €45,000-€52,000
