Respite Team Manager | CNM2 | Permenant | Full Time - 37.5 Hours| Our organisation Cheeverstown is a voluntary organisation, regulated by the Health Information & Quality Authority (HIQA).
We provide a wide range of person centered services including residential, respite and day services to almost 400 adults with an intellectual disability in the south Dublin area.

The Role: The Respite Team Manager will have responsibility for co-ordinating and leading on meaningful, person centred services/supports and opportunities for adults with intellectual disabilities availing of respite services.
The Manager will demonstrate a clear commitment to community integration and active citizenship for all people with disabilities with experience in the area of human rights and advocacy.
The post holder will hold responsibility of Person in Charge (or Person Participating in Management) for the relevant Designated Centre(s), as per HIQA regulations.
The post holder will partake in the operational governance roster as required.
Requirements : Experience working in Intellectual Disability Services Maintain annual registration with NMBI Exhibit an excellent knowledge of developments in HSE Social Care Policy and National Regulations, particularly HIQAs National Standards for Residential Services for Children & Adults with Disabilities and National Safeguarding Policy (adults and children) Have 5 years post qualification experience, 3 of which are in in a management or supervisory role Have experience in leading a team Have experience of working in partnership with families and other stakeholders to ensure the service is meeting needs, delivered fairly, efficiently and to the required quality standard.
Full clean driving licence, and a willingness to drive as part of their role.
