Our facilities cater to sports clubs, community organisations, and individual members, offering both indoor and outdoor activities. As a registered charity owned on behalf of the community by Mitchelstown Community Centre CLG, we are committed to promoting health, fitness, and wellbeing for all.What You'll Do:· Promote and represent MLC positively at all times, both on and off the floor.· Educate, motivate, and empower members to reach their personal fitness and wellness goals.· Assist the Manager in planning, developing, and delivering a variety of activity programs throughout the year.· Ensure the safe use of all equipment and facilities, adhering to health and safety standards.· Maintain all equipment to the highest standards and report any issues immediately.· Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a welcoming, inclusive, and enjoyable environment for all users.· Be punctual and prepared for all scheduled shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.· Keep management informed of any relevant operational matters.· Report any incidents or concerns involving users or staff promptly.· Maintain cleanliness and tidiness throughout the facility at all times.· Conduct thorough checks of the facility prior to closure.· Undertake any other duties as required by the Manager.Who We're Looking For:· Nationally recognised qualification in a sports or fitness discipline.· Bonus: Certifications in spinning, circuits, strength & conditioning, etc.· Minimum of 1 year experience working in a similar sports or leisure facility.· Strong communication and computer skills· Energetic, approachable, and passionate about health and fitness.What We Offer:· Full-time position with a competitive salary, commensurate with qualifications and experience.· Opportunity to work in a supportive, community-focused environment.· Flexible working hours, including weekends and evenings, to meet the needs of our members.· The chance to make a real impact on the health and wellbeing of the local community.· Garda vetting will apply.How To ApplyIf you are enthusiastic about fitness, enjoy working with people, and want to be part of a team that makes a difference, we would love to hear from you.Closing date for applications is Friday 20th February.
