We are seeking a Risk Officer to join our Risk function at Pionew Ireland. You will contribute to the development of the company's enterprise risk management framework. We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented professional who is proactive and confident in taking ownership of a wide range of responsibilities. As a risk officer, you will report directly to the Chief Risk Officer, this position offers a great opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the evolving crypto landscape and contribute to building an effective risk framework.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the risk function to implement, embed and develop Pionew's Enterprise Risk Management Framework including the risk management policyMonitor and analyse risks across financial, operational, compliance, market, liquidity, technologyConduct horizon scanning and assess risk exposure related to crypto-assets, custody, trading, and settlement activitiesSupport the development of risk models tailored to crypto-asset products and servicesAssist in the risk assessment process (identification, measurement, mitigation) for new and existing products/services, processes, initiatives, etc. Assist in stress testing, scenario analysis, and resilience assessments. Review and challenge risk assessmentsCollate and track risk information (Key risk indicators) and collate risk reports for the CRO/Board, ensure timely escalation of emerging threatsPrepare regular and ad-hoc risk reports for senior management and regulatorsSupport with the maintenance and updating of Pionew's risk registerSupport the development of a robust risk culture and champion risk management within PionewConduct and prepare risk information for risk meetings with staff and officersCarry out testing of key controls including the scope of testing, collection of data, testing of controls and resultant reports to document outcomes and propose improvementsSupport in the delivery of risk training and prepare risk awareness material as requiredSupport with the oversight of internal audit findings implementationContribute to audits, inspections, and regulatory submissionsSupport incident response processes and post-event analysis, ensure timely escalation of incidents.
