Job Description
As a key member of our finance team, we are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented professional to join us in Dublin. Your primary responsibilities will include managing day-to-day financial tasks, ensuring accuracy in financial records, and supporting clients with their accounting needs.
The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting, excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills, and strong communication skills with a client-focused approach.
Key Responsibilities
* Financial Reporting: Prepare year-end financial statements and reports for review.
* Account Reconciliation: Reconcile key accounts, including VAT, payroll, leases, hire purchases, and fixed assets.
* Transaction Recording: Record financial transactions accurately in accounting software.
* Management Accounts: Assist in preparing management accounts and financial reports.
* Compliance: Ensure financial statements meet deadlines and compliance requirements.
* Year-End Closing: Support the year-end closing process, including final journal entries.
* Tax Returns: Assist with the preparation of Corporation Tax returns.
* Client Communication: Communicate with clients professionally via phone and email.
Requirements
* Apart from holding a part-qualified ACA or ACCA qualification, you must have at least two years of experience in an accounting practice.
* Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite is required.
* You should be highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
* Able to work independently and use initiative.
