Clerical Officer Contract Type: Temporary, Fixed Term - Till December **** Hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week - Dublin (Office based - 5 days per week) The Clerical Officer will be a core part of a dynamic team, working directly with the Assistant General Secretary and Senior Official, under the overall management of the General Secretary.
This role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle confidential matters with professionalism.
Key Duties and Responsibilities Administrative Support Preparing documentation, minutes/records, presentations, and internal reports Arranging internal and external meetings Coordinating events and maintaining effective filing systems Managing diaries and general administrative tasks Member Engagement Responding to member queries via phone, email, and written correspondence Providing high-quality customer service and clear communication Documentation & Casework Drafting, editing, and proofreading correspondence, case briefs, reports, and submissions Maintaining an accurate and up-to-date database of cases, with particular attention to compliance with legal deadlines Liaison & Coordination Liaising with external bodies, including solicitors, management bodies, and the Department of Education and Youth Supporting the flow of information between internal teams and external stakeholders General Office Support Providing relief cover at the reception desk as required Undertaking any other secretarial, administrative, or related duties assigned by the Assistant General Secretary and/or Senior Official Reed Specialist Recruitment is an Employment Agency and an Employment Business for permanent and temporary recruitment.
