This is a key site-based role responsible for ensuring the accurate setting out and surveying of construction works, supporting the successful delivery of projects nationwide.This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Site Engineer / Setting Out Engineer to make a meaningful impact within a growing organisation, with clear scope for career advancement.Key ResponsibilitiesSite Preparation & SurveyingSetting out site boundaries and infrastructure locationsLevelling and conducting surveying tasksUsing GPS and total station equipment for accuracyBuildings set out and dimension controlSite Services setting out, including drainage, water‑main and electrical / communications systemsRoads and carparks setting out including reduced level and fill operationsHard and Soft landscapingHealth & Safety MonitoringEnsuring safety protocols are followedReporting hazards and maintaining safety logsCommunication & CoordinationLiaising with contractors, operators, and other engineersKeeping stakeholders informed of site progressResolving technical issues collaborativelyDocumentation & ReportingMaintaining a logbook of site activitiesEnsuring deadlines are met and communicatedPreparation of as built drawings and records in CAD & PDF formatCore Skills / AttributesStrong understanding of drawings, specifications, and construction methodsExperience with infrastructure, buildings, and site services (drainage, roads, utilities)Competent in CAD for preparing and reviewing as‑built drawingsPractical mindset with the ability to adapt to changing site conditionsProactive in identifying risks and proposing solutionsAbility to coordinate effectively with multiple stakeholdersCommitment to maintaining a safe working environment
