The role presents excellent opportunities to develop and progress within one of the fastest growing areas of the FirmThe ideal candidate will have a background in professional services, will understand the challenges of managing a portfolio of IT audit clients, managing and training IT auditors and delivering to clients.The candidate will have experience in IT audits delivered as part of outsourced/ co sourced internal audit models in industry, financial services and the public sectorForvis Mazars is a large, stable, growing firm, with a lot of opportunities for the right candidate to develop their career and progress rapidly.We provide excellent personal, technical IT and managerial training and development programmes, travel opportunities, attractive salary, and benefits options together with an innovative range of benefits and working options.We value ability, hard work and innovation, we provide variety, excellent remuneration, strongdevelopment options and a fantastic team culture.Key ResponsibilitiesThe role involves:Managing a portfolio of internal IT audits of varying size, scope and complexityBuilding and maintaining excellent client relationshipsDeveloping audit plans and scoping audits for whom we act in an outsourced or co-sourced internal audit or specialist audit capacityOverseeing fieldwork including managing / guiding / reviewing junior staffReviewing working papersDrafting audit reports including audit findings and recommendationLiaising with audit staff and client managementPresentation at audit committee meetingsEnsuring that quality standards are metActing as part of the IT audit management team and contributing to the growth and development of the teamContributing to the development and training of IT audit staffContribution to the development of our internal IT audit methodologyIdeal CandidateMinimum of 5 years of IT auditing experience in an audit firmPrevious internal IT audit experience particularly in the financial services sector (co-sourced, outsourced or similar)Previous experience managing internal IT audit teamsAudit, IT, engineering, security or similar primary degreeExcellent knowledge of a wide range of technology (applications, infrastructure, networking, IT management controls)Ability to operate in a fast moving and dynamic environmentOrganised, structured and self motivatedExcellent interpersonal skillsExcellent organisational and planning capabilitiesStrong oral, presentation and written communication skills in EnglishThe following would also be an advantageAI audit/ algorithmic auditKnowledge of cyber security standards (NIST, ISO27001, NIS-D, etc.)Experience in the payment services industry including common standards and regulatory requirements such as PCI DSS, PSD2 and secure customer authenticationA technical qualification in cyber security, networking or infrastructure or similarExperience with Operational and Engineering technologies (OT)Please NotePlease Note: Forvis Mazars is an Equal Opportunities Employer.
