We are seeking a motivated, innovative and enthusiastic
Clinical Support Specialist – Orthopaedics
to join an established and highly experienced orthopaedic team.
This is a clinical and educational role, ideal for someone passionate about supporting surgical teams and improving patient outcomes in a fast-paced theatre environment.
The Role
As a Clinical Support Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting orthopaedic surgeons and theatre teams, becoming an integral part of the wider sales and clinical support function.
You will provide hands-on clinical expertise, product knowledge and education across key hospital accounts within the Munster region.
Key Responsibilities
Provide in-theatre clinical support to consultants and nursing staff during orthopaedic procedures, including hip and knee (primary and revision) cases
Deliver accurate and compliant information on orthopaedic implant systems and their indications for use
Support theatre teams to ensure procedures run smoothly and efficiently
Deliver clinical education and training to surgeons, nurses and hospital staff (Theatre & HSSD)
Build and maintain strong professional relationships with key hospital accounts and clinical stakeholders
Monitor clinical satisfaction and identify opportunities to support evolving customer needs
Promote and develop the orthopaedic and power tools portfolio with relevant customers
Maintain up-to-date product knowledge to ensure credibility and excellence in customer interactions
Attend exhibitions, meetings and conferences as required
Monitor market activity and feedback insights on trends and competitor activity

Experience & Requirements
Experience working within orthopaedics
Previous theatre experience essential
Proven ability to build and maintain customer relationships
Knowledge of the local healthcare sector
Full, clean driving licence
Flexibility to travel regularly across Munster and occasionally beyond
