O'Gorman Solicitors is seeking to recruit a highly organised and detail-oriented bookkeeper / accountant to work in their office on O’Connell Street, Limerick. This position offers the opportunity to play a key part in the smooth running of a busy practice, working within a supportive and professional environment.
The role offers the opportunity to utilise valuable experience and financial expertise without the pressure of career progression. The role is supported by the existing bookkeeper / accountant who is remaining with the practice.
Key Responsibilities
Record invoicing accurately and efficiently
Maintaining client ledgers to ensure all outlay is invoiced promptly
Preparing bank lodgements and processing monies received via EFT
Processing payments through online banking systems
Processing staff expense claims
Preparing VAT and VIES reports
Reviewing rental receipts and overseeing property registrations and maintenance
Managing day-to-day office administration
Assisting with ad hoc duties as required
Qualifications
3–4 years’ experience
Strong proficiency in Excel, Word and Outlook
Familiarity with online banking platforms
Proactive, professional and dependable
Able to work on own initiative and manage workload effectively
Comfortable liaising with staff at all levels
