Reporting to the Head of Support Functions, this position offers excellent opportunities and significant exposure across all areas of the business.Key Responsibilities:Quality ControllerManage and maintain existing Quality Management SystemMonitoring quality performed by other departments to ensure it meets the established standardsEnsuring that quality requirements are met by entities placed under the control of the quality departmentCreation and maintenance of consistent documentation in line with ISO9001 standardsEnsuring continuous review to identify problems within new/existing processesCorrecting problems when found by identifying resources, initiating a problem resolution procedure and corrective action plan when necessaryEnsuring, from a quality perspective, that products/services meet the required standards consistentlyManage any issues through a defined risk assessment/corrective action frameworkMonitoring the progress and ensuring effective closure of all corrective action plansPerforming testing/inspections when required to verify that corrective actions are implemented effectivelyFacilities SupervisorNegotiating contracts with service providersInspecting facilities to meet safety regulationsCoordinating renovations and updatesRunning routine safety inspectionsManage maintenance schedules, repairs, calibration of equipment and contractor activitiesMonitor temperature-controlled areas and equipment, particularly for pharmaproductsSupport validation and qualification activities (e.g. temperature mapping, equipment qualification)Maintaining recordsSkills/ Experience:Minimum of 3 years' experience in a quality or compliance role within logistics/freight forwarding or supply chainRelevant third level qualification in Quality Management, Logistics or related disciplineExperience in pharmaceutical logistics and GDP environments highly desirableKnowledge of relevant ISO standardsExperience with CAPAs & Validation is essential.Experience managing internal & external audit experienceProficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel) and quality management systems (QMS).Strong understanding of Health & Safety and facilities compliancePossess excellent problem solving and analytical skills, identify non conformances and execute corrective actions when requiredDeliver high quality results independently or collaboratively while managing tight deadlinesBenefits:Professional growth opportunitiesHealthcare SchemePension SchemeLife AssuranceEmployee Assistance Program23 days annual leave increasing with length of serviceFree onsite parkingCompany eventsWorking Pattern:Monday to Friday, based on 37.5 Hours per week
