Join a busy facility in Dublin 24 as a Healthcare Catering Chef. This hands-on role supports patient nutrition and well-being through freshly prepared meals. Ideal for experienced chefs with healthcare or high-volume kitchen backgrounds.
Responsibilities:
* Prepare and present nutritious meals that meet dietary requirements.
* Lead and support kitchen staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
* Follow all food safety, hygiene, and HACCP procedures.
* Monitor meal quality, portion control, and presentation.
* Manage inventory, procurement, and food storage.
* Support menu planning in line with nutritional guidelines.
* Ensure cleanliness and compliance across kitchen areas.
Requirements:
* QQI Level 6 in Culinary Arts or equivalent qualification.
* Proven experience in a healthcare or large-scale catering environment.
* Knowledge of HACCP and cook-chill processes.
* Legal Right to Work in Ireland and Garda Vetting clearance.
* Full driver’s licence is desirable.
* Ability to provide 5 years of work references.
* Strong leadership, communication, and time management skills.
* Flexibility for weekday and weekend shifts as per rota.
Salary & Benefits:
* €20.29/hour, with Double Pay on Sundays & Bank Holidays.
* Day shifts (7:00 am – 6:30 pm, Monday to Sunday).
