Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor
This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a key role in the project team, responsible for the commercial management and financial control of a significant new-build development from pre-construction to final account.
Key Responsibilities:
* Full commercial management and financial control of the project
* Preparation of tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities
* Procuring and managing subcontractor packages from enquiry through to final account
* Preparing valuations, cost value reconciliations (CVRs), and reporting
* Identifying and pricing variations, and managing change control processes
* Ensuring timely and accurate cost reporting to senior management
* Building and maintaining strong relationships with the client, subcontractors, and the project team
The Ideal Candidate:
* A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field
* Minimum of 6+ years' post-graduate experience, with a proven track record on large-scale commercial or industrial projects
* Strong experience working for a main contractor in Ireland or the UK
* Commercially astute with excellent negotiation and financial management skills
* Proficient in the full project lifecycle, from tender to final account
* A proactive, self-motivated individual with strong leadership potential
